We are Thankful for YOU!
It is customary this time of year to stop and reflect on all the things we are thankful for and all the Ebenezers we’ve seen over the past year; reminders of how God has helped us all along this journey. We at the Crucible’s Fire are no different, and we’ve got PLENTY to be thankful for!
In 2022 we’ve seen the Lord begin to open doors and grow the ministry to new and exciting places with much more in store for 2023. Let’s highlight just a few!
Our Monthly Partners!
I know it is “usual fair” to say thank you for financial gifts, but you really can’t understand just how much we appreciate those who’ve chosen to partner with us on a monthly basis and entrusted us with their generosity to continue to provide Education and Equipping services to anyone and everyone who may call on us. Even a small monthly gift of $5.00 has a HUGE impact on this ministry! If you aren’t currently partnering with us on a monthly basis, we hope you would prayerfully consider that in 2023, or even a one-time gift to help further the teaching and training of the saints of tomorrow.
Partnership with Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Lindale, Texas
Early in 2022, we were privileged to be a part of the Annual Cross Brand Horse Gate Pastor’s Conference as a guest vendor. What a wonderful time of fellowship, learning, and connection with God’s people. This opened the door for us to spend 5 Wednesday nights with the Cross Brand crowd going through the Or-thot-om-eo Bible Study Training. We expected 30 to 50, but the first night 108 souls showed up to learn to study the Word more deeply! We were humbled, encouraged, and excited to see them soak up the training and put it to use immediately! Thank you Pastor Mike Morrow and Cross Brand for the opportunity and continued support.
Ecclesia Community Church - Brownsville, TX
A BIG thank you to Pastor James Martinez, an SBTC Church Planter, who allowed us to come to serve his church and introduce them to the Bible Study training there in Brownsville. We had a wonderful time sharing the joy and richness of deep bible Study with his leadership team. Also, we are currently discussing with Pastor Martinez the possibility of joining him for a Pastor’s Conference and Training event in the Spring of 2023 down in the Valley for pastors on both sides of the border!
The Gates Community Chuch Int’l
In October we were blessed to come alongside the leadership team of The Gates and walk their folks through the training. What a wonderful Saturday of learning and fellowship! This led us to join them in a series of Wednesday nights teaching Kingdom Vision and practical shepherding. We can’t wait to see where the Lord uses us next together!
Pastor Prisy Got a Truck!!
We are humbled and grateful to be able to partner with many of you to finally get Pastor Prisy’s truck delivered to him this summer. Previously, Pastor Prisy was pastoring three different churches in the mountainous regions of Central Mexico all while riding a bicycle to each location! Quite a feat for a man of God in his 60s! (Quite a feat for me, a man in my 40s). Pastor Prisy and his dear wife were very excited to now be able to minister together and to save Pastor Prisy’s knees!
Pulpit Supply Ministry
Several times in 2022 we have had the opportunity to fill the pulpit for pastors in times of illness or vacation. This is actually more of a blessing to us than them, but we are learning there are many pastors out there, especially in small congregations, where the prospect pool of ministers willing to come and fill in for a day of teaching or preaching is a bit small. We hope in 2023 to expand this ministry even more, providing pastors with references and endorsements from area pastors to help us help them fill the pulpit in times of need!
Friday LIVE! Podcast
This year we are thankful to have been able to produce 56 episodes of our Friday LIVE! Podcast. This is such a sweet time for Tim and I to share what God is doing in our lives, as well as have special guests like Eric Johnson, Bruce Lawrence, and Butch Smith. We hope to have more guests and more rich discussion on all things Kingdom. We go live on Facebook every Friday (or most) from Matt’s personal Facebook page, but we also share to the Ministry Facebook page, the Crucible’s Fire Community Group, and to YouTube. Redesigned Printed Publications
2022 has been a whirlwind year for our printed and digital products. We’ve completely redesigned our English and Spanish 3x5 Bible Study Journals, including the Beginner’s Editions, our Bible Study Training Manuals, Brynna’s Book, and we’ve introduced 2 new products: The Crucible’s Fire Plain Journal and our 1 year’s worth of Sermon Notes Spiral! So, What’s Coming Up?
Pattern Platform App
This year we partnered with a ministry group called the Pattern Platform. They are dedicated to developing and distributing inexpensive app technology targeted at spreading house churches and discipleship movements. We are currently developing our English version of the app which will showcase the Or-thot-om-eo Bible Study training in an online learning format. We hope to be in full release by the end of 2022! Please be in prayer for this project. As soon as the English version is complete and released, we will begin work on the Spanish version. Training Trip to Puebla, Mexico
We have recently been invited by Pastor Antonio Torres to help him work with and train a group of Mexican pastors in the city of Puebla just outside Mexico City. I’ve known Pastor Torres for many years and he is a wonderful and faithful servant of God. We can’t wait to finalize this trip and see the Fruit of the Kingdom begin to grow.
Kingdom Vision Conference
Last, but certainly not least, we are currently planning our very first annual Kingdom Vision Conference in early June of 2023. This will be 2.5 days of Worship, Fellowship, and Kingdom Vision training from our superb team of teachers, pastors, and elders. You will NOT want to miss this opportunity.
